I (born in 1978) am concerned with Tattooing since 2008. The reason for was that I would achieve my graphical ideas also in human skin permanently. I recognize Tattooing not only as a thousands of years old artform, I also consider it is an different art compared to painting on paper or canvas. Through the natural aging process of the „Medium“ skin, a graphic that would become tattooed has to be more reduced and abstracted to stay clean and functional in the human skin after decades. Skilled with this knowledge and my proper learned craft from different masters of Tattooing in my hometown Graz, I am working daily on my customers to produce art that will attend them as long as most and in the ideal case some weeks over their passing away. Tattoos in general are a dynamic form of art in my point of sight (for example like graffitis on trains, they also move the whole time), and you can face them in everyday's life with the benefit of not visiting a museum to see them like other paintings or subjects. I would describe my style as Pop-Art inspired Western Traditional, classic Traditional and also Blackwork in all his manifestations, from simple, geometric forms towards to realistic pictures. I also try to create „Custom Tattoos“ for my customers that exists only one time in the world and exclusive in my clients skin . I also see myself every day on my whole life as an apprentice, I learned this from my beloved mentors and share their idea, that this is the only Wway to grow in art and craft. Furthermore I see Tattooing not as an 8am-5pm job, but rather as an ancient tradition that is crooked with me and my life unavoidable.
